Letter No.48 of 14/1/2025

Dear President Donald Trump
I read about Julian Assange and how the Crown Prosecution Service claimed it had deleted documents subject to a Freedom of Information request.
It reminded me of when I was inducted as an Articled Clerk to become an Accountant.
The first lesson was the meaning of honesty – ethics – integrity – and truth and fairness. The Senior Partner explained that as an Auditor I am required to satisfy myself that a Client’s Financial Statements, books, records, and explanations are  “True and Fair”.  To emphasise this he explained that when the owners or directors of a business approached the firm to be their auditor, investigations took place to confirm the honesty and openness of the – owners – chair and directors – company secretary – CEO and executives. If anyone failed the investigation the firm would not act as auditor.
It was explained that if dishonesty existed the Financial Statements, books, records and explanations could NOT be expected to “Truthfully and Fairly” disclose the transactions, contracts, financial affairs and contingent liabilities of the business. I was an Auditor for 11 years.
2% LIBERTY TAX can bring “Truth and Fairness” to the actual TAX cost of a business, both paid and unpaid, and any contingent TAX liabilities, to improve the Truth and Fairness of Financial Statements and Reports including to the New York Stock Exchange.
Kind regards
